I’m excited to share that I have launched a new lunch menu. This new menu will be available via pre-order and pick up at my new spot:

Lunch Pick-Up Hours: Monday to Friday, 7-10 am.
Please note: The cut off time for lunch orders is 2pm the day before, so we can prepare everything fresh for you.
This new location isn’t just about pick-ups—it also gives us the space and flexibility to better support all of your catering needs.

About Me
My name is Kara Thurston.
I have spent the last 15+ years working in various restaurants. My commercial kitchen/restaurant experiences range from breakfast to dinner services, and many things in between. Over my many years, I have never lost my passion of cooking, or creating delicious items that I take pride in serving. I love pairing sweet and savoury items to create an incr’edible’ experience for your taste buds.
After many years in the restaurant world, I decided to venture out on my own. Now, I can focus on the things I love the most: small intimate parties, of approximately 40-60 people, serving a variety of filling bite-sized items that are sure to please the palate.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I pick up my order instead of having it delivered?
Yes. For smaller orders—such as sandwich platters—pickup is preferred. For larger catering orders, we are happy to arrange delivery and confirm details with you when you place your order.
When should I place my sandwich order, and when can I pick it up?
Sandwich orders should be placed by 2:00 pm for pickup the following morning between 7:00 and 10:00 am. If you’re ordering a larger lunch order, we can also arrange delivery between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.
How much notice do I need to give for an order?
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for most catering orders, and a 50% non-refundable deposit. Larger or more complex requests may require additional time so we can prepare everything to our standards. If you need something on shorter notice, give us a call—we’ll do our best to make it happen.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies?
Absolutely. We can provide vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options upon request. If anyone in your group has a food allergy, please let us know when placing your order so we can take extra care in preparing your meal.
Can I customize the menu?
Yes! While we have set menu options for convenience, we’re happy to work with you to create a menu that suits your event, taste, and budget. Just let us know what you have in mind.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit cards, e-transfers, cheques, and cash. Payment details will be confirmed when your order is finalized.
What is your cancellation policy?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your catering order. If you need to cancel, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to additional charges, depending on the order size and preparation already completed.
Do you provide staff for events?
For most orders, we provide the food ready to serve, either by pickup or delivery. If you require on-site service staff, please contact us in advance—we may be able to accommodate for larger events.

Kara took care of all the details while allowing us the freedom to handle the ‘fun’ parts. Kara is an outstanding Chef – the food was great, the service was excellent – she even allowed our 7 year old grandson to assist in the plated food to dining room table delivery – he was thrilled and still talks about it! “TLKCatering produced some amazing valentines, charcuterie and chocuterie boxes that were the perfect surprise for my wife and kids. I had one of each a sweet and a savory. The savory box was really well thought out with a nice variety of meats and cheeses with several delicious sauces and fresh figs. The Sweet box was also exquisite with dipped strawberries, a range of chocolates from dark to white and well paired cookies. All together the variety and convenience of her delivery made plating it all for presentation at home really easy.
